ACTIVE AND PASSIVE SENTENSE

ACTIVE SENTENCES
Ø  Teori :
is a sentence that the person do a job. An important feature that marks the active sentence, that sentence in the form of predicate verbs beginning with me (N)-and air-conditioned. However, not a few sentences on the activity not accompanied both the prefix, for example happens in eating and drinking.
Ø  Rumus :
[Thing doing action] + [verb] + [thing receiving action]
Ø  Examples 10 active sentences – passive
1.      Active : My mother was driving me to my school yesterday in the morning
Passive : I was being driven by my father to my school yesterday in the morning
2.      Active : They were playing the ball together at noon yesterday
Passive : The ball was being played by them together at noon yesterday
3.      Active : We watched the lion king movie on the cinema yesterday
Passive : The lion king movie was watched by us yesterday
4.      Active : She studied English yesterday
Passive : The English is studied by her yesterday
5.      Active : The gardener grows flowers
Passive : Flowers are grown by the gardener
6.      Active : My sister planted that tree
Passive : That tree was planted by my sister
7.      Active : He is reading a novel now
Passive : The novel is being read by him
8.      Active : Sam repaired the car
Passive : The car was repaired by sam
9.      Active : The dog is biting             Anne’s leg
Passive : Anne’s leg is being bitten by the dog
10.  Active : She is singing a good song now
Passive : The good song is being sung by her now

PASSIVE SENTENCES
Ø  Teori :
In passive sentences, the thing receiving the action is the subject of the sentence and the thing doing the action is optionally included near the end of the sentence. You can use the passive form if you think that the thing receiving the action is more important or should be emphasized. You can also use the passive form if you do not know who is doing the action or if you do not want to mention who is doing the action.
Ø  Rumus :
[Thing receiving action] + [be] + [past participle of verb] + [by] + [thing doing action]
Ø  Examples 10 passive sentences – active
1.      Passive : The door was closed by wina
Active : Win closed the door
2.      Passive : The computer is being turned on by Raihan
Active : Raihan is turning on the computer
3.      Passive : Television was being watched by Doni
Active : Doni was watching television
4.      Passive : A tigger was killed by Rino
Passive : Rino killed a tiger
5.      Passive : The mails are being sent by the post man at the present
Active : The postman is sending the mails at the present
6.      Passive : She has been bought a candy by me just now
Active : I have bought her a candy just now
7.      Passive ; The house is cleaned by us every week
Active : We clean the house every week
8.      Passive : My mother was called by me last night
Active : I called my mother yesterday
9.      Passive : The ball is kicked by her very hard
Active : She kicks the ball very hard
10.  Passive : Many cakes have been made by Sarah
Active : Sarah has made many cakes
